Behind the Scenes

Such a busy and exciting month. Welcoming this distraction of a creative endeavor to our interesting times. I am so happy to be launching this website, a dream since leaving art school, to share my process and pursuits. I have been blessed with children and a full time art teaching job and just now, as my children are growing older, finding the space to come back to more art making.

I try to involve my family in my process. My husband has assembled earring ideas, my daughter wants her own page for her art and my sons like to check out the process at all points. I believe we may be seeing more of them in the future as I would like to support their interests!

Presently the site is full of first blush of my earrings, my plein air paintings (done onsite amongst the cheerful chaos of a bundle of children) and an exploration of the circle in collage.
